A Romanian spends EUR6.5 per month on clothes and footwear, almost two times less than a Hungarian and five times less than a Russian. Romania is as a matter of fact the country where the population allots the smallest sum of money for apparel and shoes, less even than Bulgaria and Ukraine, countries where average wages are lower than Romanian ones.
