Government Rethinks Car Tax, Proposes New Calculation Formula

Romania’s Government proposes a new formula to compute the car pollution tax, which increases by about 10% the sum to be paid for Euro 4 and Euro 3 cars, and lowers by 60% to 90% the tax to be paid by owners of Euro 2, Euro 1 and non-Euro cars.
