New Car Registrations Down 28% YoY In July 2026

The Romanian auto market experienced a severe correction in July 2026, when new car registrations fell by 28.2% to 11,633 units compared with the same month last year, according to preliminary data published by the Association of Automotive Manufacturers and Importers (APIA), based on information from the General Directorate for Driving Licenses and Registrations.
