Romania, Ford Settle Penalty Dispute

Romania’s government wants to cancel out a part of penalties owed by U.S. carmaker Ford, which failed to observe car production clauses included in a privatization contract with the state, after the carmaker referred an environmental dispute to the International Court of Arbitration.
