Elimination Of Coffee Excise Duty Might Drive Consumption Up

If the government drops the coffee excise duty that starts at EUR153/ton and is one of the steps included on its fiscal relaxation list, the move will be good for market, say the officials of Romania’s largest coffee business, Strauss Romania. Coffee is not subject to excise duties in most European Union countries.
