ANRE: Consumers Paid RON406.4M As Cogeneration Tax In 1Q, Down 11% YoY

Electric power consumers paid 406.4 million lei (EUR90.2 million) as cogeneration (combined heat and power (CHP) tax in the first quarter of the year, down 11% from RON457 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to Romania’s energy regulator ANRE.
