Nuclearelectrica (stock symbol: SNN), the operator of Romania's Cernavoda nuclear power plant (NPP), on July 16 announced that the European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved a EUR800 million loan for the modernization project of Unit 1 of the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant.
