Geothermal Energy May Attract EUR1.5B To Be Productive. What’s Missing To Start Up?

Romania’s energy potential from geothermal sources could be evaluated at about EUR1.5 billion, based on the data on investments accomplished up to date and the most recent studies in the field. Certain districts in Oradea or Bihor are being provided heating power through the geothermal reserves but it is needed support to make electricity from hot water of up to 3,500 depths.
