Hidroelectrica Posts RON719M Gross Profit In January-August

Romanian insolvent power producer Hidroelectrica posted a gross profit of 719 million lei (EUR162.7 million) in the first eight months of 2014, up 12% on the year, due to 14.5% higher electricity sales and the cut in operating expenses.
