New Energy Bill Introduces Criteria For ANRE Members, Deregulation And Smart Meters

The bill on electricity and the organization and operation of the energy market watchdog, ANRE, approved by the government at the end of last week and sent to the Parliament, includes some new things for a market worth billions of euros a year, on which the most powerful state-run companies in Romania and international giants like CEZ (Czech Republic), Enel (Italy) and E.ON (Germany) operate.
