PM: EC Can Choose To Allow EU Countries To Adapt Their Laws For Shale Gas Exploitation&Exploration

The European Commission has the option to allow member states to adapt their laws so as to support the exploration and exploitation of shale gas, while observing environmental standards, Romania’s Prime Minister Victor Ponta said Wednesday at the end of the European Council meeting.
