Romania's Spending On Healthcare Is Lowest In EU, Study Finds

Romania spends less on healthcare as a share of the GDP than any other EU state – 5.6% in 2009, compared with the EU average of 9.9%, and 3.7% in 2011, which is only two thirds of the necessary minimum, according to a study published Thursday.
