Banking Employees’ Salaries, One Third Higher Than Before The Crisis

Bankers are still among the best paid employees in the Romanian economy despite the restructuring drive the sector has witnessed in recent years. At the end of March, banking employees’ net average monthly salary, of above 4,000 lei (EUR900), surpassed even that of IT industry employees, according to National Statistics Institute (INS) data.
