Kaufland Overtakes OMV Petrom As Romania’s Biggest Private Sector Employer

Grocery retailer Kaufland beat OMV Petrom (SNP.RO) in terms of personnel numbers for the first time ever and became the biggest private sector employer in Romania. Kaufland had 20,386 active employees at the end of September, while Petrom had 17,799.
