Petrom CEO: Romania Has Priority For Black Sea Gas

Mariana Gheorghe, CEO of Romania’s largest oil company OMV Petrom (SNP.RO), said Petrom and US ExxonMobil, its partner for deepwater Black Sea exploration, set off talks with Transgaz to analyze the capacity of the national grid to absorb potential gas reserves tracked offshore. “Where will this gas go? It all depends on market demand,” Mariana Gheorghe told ZF in an interview.
