Swiss billionaire Michael Pieper, owner of the kitchen appliance manufacturer Franke, has invested about EUR16 million in land near Timisoara in the last seven years, where he plans to attract logistics or industrial facility investors as infrastructure in the area improves and labor costs are still low.
