Franz Paul Bauer, the Austrian managing director and shareholder of S+B Gruppe, which has invested around EUR120 million on the Romanian market, mainly in real estate, says Romania is currently attractive because it still has a lot of “homework” to do, while Poland is a safer market because corruption and bureaucracy have been significantly cut.
