Colliers: Distribution Chains To Be Restructured; Producers, Logistics Firms May Focus On Local, Regional Suppliers

The increase in online sales, in parallel with a temporary closure of other sales channels, has prompted many retailers to reorganize their activity and many firms in the logistics, transport and trade sectors are looking for local or proximity solutions for raw materials (19%) to no longer depend on imports from far countries, including China, and to avoid supply chain deadlocks, per a Colliers International survey among 76 companies in the Romanian industrial and logistics sector.
