Fashion Retail Heavyweights Opened Almost 50 Stores And Hired Over 1,000 People In 2011

2011 was the year of the “big four” clothing retailers operating on the local market, Inditex, H&M, New Yorker and C&A. Although consumer spending continued to decline by over 5% this year, following the trend of 2009 and 2010, the four retailers opened almost 50 stores in which they invested EUR30 million and hired 1,000 to 1,200 people.
