Higher Excise Rates On Alcohol To Increase Alcoholic Drink Prices By Up To 40% - Association

Raising excise duties on alcohol will increase alcoholic drink prices by 25% to 40% and tax evasion will skyrocket to 90% from about 70% currently, according to Romulus Dascalu, president of GARANT, an association of employers in the spirits industry.
