Less than a decade ago, Bucharest’s Old Town was a place of derelict buildings, homeless people and stray dogs freely roaming the streets. Now some 200 bars, restaurants and coffee shops populate the area, welcoming 3,000 to 4,000 customers every day, especially after sundown.
