Schwarz Group Accounts For 20% Of Grocery Retail In Romania

Germany’s Schwarz group, which owns Kaufland hypermarket chain and Lidl discount store chain, now accounts for almost 20% of the grocery retail in Romania, put at 77.6 billion lei (EUR17 billion) last year. The group first introduced Kaufland in 2005 and Lidl came six years later.
