Smithfield Foods Sales In Romania Up 24% To $57.6M In 1Q

US pork producer and processor Smithfield Foods Monday reported a 24% increase in Romanian sales to $57.6 million in the first fiscal quarter, from $46.6 million in the year-earlier period.
