Romania’s Farmers Start To Learn Cooperation Makes Them Strong

A group of 39 farmers in Giurgiu County (southern Romania), who operate 25,000 hectares of arable land together, have managed to persuade traders to sell them seeds or pesticides up to 30% cheaper after partnering. Moreover, as soon as crops are harvested every summer and autumn, traders rush to buy their wheat or corn.
