Stalling Consumption And Trade Competition Drag Selgros Revenue Down Below EUR700M

Cash&carry store chain Selgros saw its revenue drop below the EUR700 million threshold and profit shrink to less than one third of the 2008 level, to EUR12.2 million, in 2013. Alexandru Vlad, the company’s chief executive officer, says the decline came amid stagnating consumption and rising competition in the field of trade.
