Association: Romania’s Software Industry At A Turning Point

Software companies operating in Romania currently employ some 60,000 people and about 80% of them have technical education. Some 90% of programmers and engineers work in outsourcing or in a business where a part of the revenues comes from developing software at request for international clients, reveals a survey conducted by research company IDC at the request of the Romanian Association of Employers in the Software Industry (ANIS).
