Telecom Operators In Romania Paid First Tranche Of EUR204.1M For Licenses

Telecom operators Cosmote Romania, Orange Romania, Vodafone Romania and RCS&RDS paid the first tranche of EUR204.14 million for mobile telephony licenses in frequency bands 800, 900, 1,800 and 2,600 MHz, Catalin Marinescu, head of telecom market regulator ANCOM, said Tuesday.
