Telecom Operators Say Digital TV Licenses’ Impact On The Market Will Be Insignificant

The planned auction to award digital terrestrial television licenses will have an insignificant impact on the local television broadcasting market, as over 90% of households have access to over 70 TV channels at relatively low prices, Orange Romania and UPC representatives said Wednesday.
