Agriculture Contributed EUR19B To 2011 GDP, 2012 Doesn’t Look Nearly As Good

The agricultural sector contributed almost EUR19 billion to the Romanian gross domestic product in 2011, according to the estimates of Raiffeisen Bank’s research unit based on preliminary data from Eurostat. The record crops will consequently increase agriculture's contribution to the GDP to 7.3%.
