Central Bank Gov: EU Funds Generated GDP Growth Of 1.2 To 1.6 Percentage Points In 2007-2016

A 95% absorption rate of European Union funds within the current multiannual financial framework would trigger a growth rate of potential GDP in 2022 higher by approximately 1.7 percentage points, namely, around 5% annually, central bank governor Mugur Isarescu told a press conference on Monday.
