EBRD Expects Romania FDI To Rise In 2011

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development sees Romania's net foreign direct investment up to 2.9% of the gross domestic product in 2011, from 2% of GDP in the previous year.

In 2010, Romanian FDI shrank to EUR2.6 billion from EUR3.5 billion in 2009.

The government estimates foreign direct investment will increase to EUR3.6 billion this year.
