EC Sees Romanian GDP Growth Accelerating on Domestic Demand

The European Commission expects Romania's economic growth will pick up this year and the next, to 3.5% and 4.1% of gross domestic product, respectively, as fiscal stimulus spurs domestic demand at the price of a rising fiscal deficit, the Commission said in its autumn forecast released Thursday.
