Isarescu: Poor EU Funds Absorption Deepened Romania's Economic Slump

Romanian economy was severely hit by a sharp decline in foreign investments after 2008 and the poor absorption rate of European structural funds has only deepened the country’s recession, central bank governor Mugur Isarescu said Tuesday.
