Votes counted at Sunday’s local elections have shown results not seen in 20 years. The number of votes obtained by the Social-Liberal Union (USL), alongside the ones obtained separately by the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and Liberal Party (PNL), where the two parties did not run as an alliance, are nearing election results last seen 20 years ago.
