Environment Minister Says Procedures For Rosia Montana Mining Project Cannot Be Sped Up

Romania’s new Environment Minister Attila Korodi told news radio station RFI that the endorsement procedures for the cyanide-based gold mining project at Rosia Montana, western Romania, cannot be sped up, as President Traian Basescu had requested, because the project requires caution.
