Forests Cover Less Than 30% Of Romania

The forest area in Romania stands at about 6.6 million hectares, covering 27% of the country. This puts it on the 13th place in Europe by volume and 26th as percentage of land area, according to a Business Construct analysis based on Euromonitor, National Statistics Institute and Environment Ministry data.
