Government Boc Promises To Cut Welfare Budget By Just 1.2%

The 2012 budget provides for a reduction of welfare spending by 1.21% against 2011, to 13.95 billion lei (EUR3.2 billion), according to data published on the website of the Finance Ministry (which uses the estimated level of the welfare budget for the full 2011).
