Government To Unfreeze Jobs In Courts With Excessive Workload

05.26.2011 By Tudor Ioana Raluca

The Romanian Government will unfreeze jobs in courts facing excessive workload, but the High Council of Magistrates will also have to find solutions to step up trials, Prime Minister Emil Boc said Thursday.

Addressing the issue regarding salary rights won in court by public sector employees, Boc said courts must harmonize their decisions. He pointed out the Government must observe court rulings, while also taking into account fiscal and budgetary shortages.

The prime minister attended the meeting of the High Council of Magistrates.
