Iohannis: Romania To Increase Defense Spending To 2.5% Of GDP In The Current Security Context

President Klaus Iohannis said on Tuesday, in the context of Russia’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine, that Romania would increase the government expenditure on defense to 2.5% of gross domestic product (GDP) and ensure its energy independence.
