Number Of Farms In Romania Down 14% In 2010 From 2002, To 3.9 Million

The number of farms in Romania stood at 3.9 million last year, down 14% compared to the level revealed by the 2002 farming census, the National Statistics Institute (INS) said Thursday citing data obtained from the 2010 agricultural census.
