Romania To Place Conditions On Farmland Purchase By Foreigners

Foreigners are unlikely to buy large areas of farmland in Romania after the liberalization of land transactions starting January 1, 2014 and will have to meet certain requirements, Achim Irimescu, Agriculture Ministry secretary of state, said Monday.
