The almost 600,000 new labor contracts announced as signed between May and June in the wake of changes brought about by the new Labor Code have caused curiosity and skepticism among employers, as no large company has lately announced any massive hiring and the economy did not rebound so that small and medium-sized firms should resume hiring.
