World Bank: Romanian State Cos Receive Major Subsidies But Cause Massive Losses

One quarter of the 154 monitored Romanian state-owned enterprises have incurred losses of as much as hundreds of thousands of lei per employee, while only 14 companies have posted profit above the private sector average, despite past due restructuring and major subsidies.
