Bank of Cyprus Temporarily Shuts Down Romanian Unit Pending Sale

Bank of Cyprus will close its Romanian subsidiary for one week effective today and will use this period to find a solution to sell the unit, Bank of Cyprus Romania said in a statement Monday.
