EBRD: Romania's Current Account Deficit To Widen In 2011

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development forecasts Romania's current account deficit will widen at 5% of the gross domestic product this year, from 4.2% of GDP in 2010.

In its latest latest Regional Economic Prospects report, the EBRD also said the Romanian economy is expected to grow by 1.8% in 2011, compared with the bank's previous forecast of a 1.1% GDP growth.
