Finance Minister Unhappy With Tax Collection Level, Pledges Harsh Measures

Tax collection in the first three months of the year ‘was unsatisfactory,’ said Finance Minister Ioana Petrescu on ZF Live business show Monday, therefore, the minister announced “some very harsh measures in the near future aimed "to curb tax evasion estimated at about 25% of Romania’s gross domestic product.
