Astra Asigurari 1H Revenue Down 3.7% To RON559M, Pre-Tax Profit Up 7-Fold

Romanian insurer Astra Asigurari underwrote premiums of 559 million lei (about EUR131 million) between January and June, down 3.7% compared to the same interval last year, but its first-half gross profit increased seven times to RON82 million.
