Leu Falls Vs Euro, Exchange Rate At 2-Year Low Of 4.5381

The Romanian leu lost ground versus the euro by midday Tuesday and the central bank set the leu’s reference rate versus the euro at 4.5381 units, down 0.27% from the previous day and the lowest rate since January 27, 2014, amid low liquidity in the last days of the year.
