CITR: Insolvencies In Romania's Agricultural Sector Soar By Nearly 80% YoY In H1/2026

The number of agricultural companies entering insolvency surged by almost 80% in the first half of 2026 to 226 cases, compared to 127 cases in the same period of 2025, as per an analysis carried out by CITR, the market leader in insolvency and restructuring in Romania, based on data from the National Trade Register Office (ONRC) and its own financial analyses of the local agricultural sector.
