HP: There Is Potential To Sign Contracts For Cloud Services In The Government Area In Romania

US Hewlett Packard (HP), one of the world’s largest producers of IT equipment and providers of IT services, has in the past year won two “major” customers on the cloud solutions segment and says there are “good opportunities” to also sign partnerships with the government. This would allow the government to launch new services for citizens without allocating significant funds, Xavier Poisson, vicepresident for Cloud Computing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), told ZF in an interview.
